Overview of Collated Screw Plastic Strip

The collated screw plastic strip is made of PE material and is specially used to connect self-tapping screws, self-drilling screws, coarse and fine thread drywall screws, etc., especially suitable for collated screw guns. The plastic strip has 54 holes and can be installed with 50 screws, leaving two holes at each end. We provide round and square hole types of plastic strips to meet different screw requirements, and colors include yellow, white, red, etc. To ensure accurate matching with the collated screw gun, it is recommended to use the collated screw plastic strip once to avoid problems such as missing nails and flying nails to affect the construction effect.

Types of Collated Screw Plastic Strips

There are two types of plastic strips: injection molding strips and stamping strips.

• Injection molding strips are made by injection molding, the screws are firmly fixed, the precision is high, and the phenomenon of collated screw gun jamming is reduced, but the production cost is high.
• Stamping strips use stamping technology, which is low in cost. Still, the precision is poor, which can easily cause the screws to shake left and right, especially when installing coarse thread screws, affecting stability and collated screw gun performance.

Injection molding plastic strips are produced faster and are suitable for applications with high precision requirements, reducing nail gun wear. Stamping plastic strips are economical but have low precision, and screws are prone to misalignment or jamming.
